Membership
Membership in the Dallas Down River Club offers a few key benefits. We have been a paddling club since 1975 and have years of experience in paddling and camping. the best way to learn to to go with experienced club members. We plan 12 to 15 trips a year and do the research before each trip, where to launch from, where to take-out, water conditions, shuttle contacts. We also have years of experience on multiple rivers in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas - so we know what to expect. Members of the DDRC become extended family over time where you can make long term friends. Many of our members keep in touch with each other outside the club. Reasons to become a DDRC member:Learning opportunitiesThe DDRC can help you learn the tricks and tips of paddling your watercraft, how to read the water for enjoyable river excursions, how to read and interpret the USGS river gauges.
